VideaHealth Secures $40 Million to Transform Dentistry Through AI

VideaHealth has announced a successful $40 million Series B funding round to expand its AI-driven dental care platform. Led by Threshold Ventures, the round included Avenir, Spark Capital, BAM Elevate, and Zetta Venture Partners. This funding will support the company’s growth and accelerate adoption of its technology across dental clinics globally.

Addressing Critical Challenges in Dentistry.

The dental care industry is growing, but many clinics face burnout, staff shortages, and administrative burdens. VideaHealth’s platform helps by automating repetitive tasks and improving diagnostic precision for dental professionals. This approach enables clinics to improve efficiency without compromising the quality of patient care.

Enhancing the Clinical Workflow.

The platform uses AI to detect dental conditions, recommend treatments, and streamline patient documentation. It also supports clear communication, allowing dentists to explain diagnoses and care plans more effectively. This results in improved trust, faster care decisions, and stronger patient relationships.

CEO’s Vision for AI in Oral Health.

Founder and CEO Florian Hillen believes AI can support clinicians in delivering smarter, more consistent dental care. His vision is a future where dentists feel supported by technology, not burdened by administrative tasks. He sees AI as a tool to improve care quality and reduce operational stress in every clinic.

Expanding Reach Through Key Partnerships.

VideaHealth has partnered with major dental support organizations, including Heartland Dental and DentalCorp. These partnerships integrate VideaHealth’s AI into thousands of clinics across North America. DentalCorp President Nate Tchaplia noted improvements in diagnostic confidence and increased treatment acceptance among patients.

Empowering the Next Generation of Dentists.

In collaboration with Henry Schein One, VideaHealth is bringing its platform to dental education programs. This initiative allows students to use AI tools during training and gain clinical insights early in their careers. The platform supports learning across specialties like pediatric, preventive, and restorative dentistry.

Built for Simplicity and Results.

Dentists report that the platform integrates smoothly into their workflows without disrupting care delivery. It reduces time spent on paperwork while enhancing clinical accuracy and patient communication. The technology operates in the background, empowering dentists to focus more on personalized care.

Looking Ahead: Scaling Innovation.

With new funding, VideaHealth plans to expand its platform and refine its AI capabilities. The company aims to improve care standards, reduce clinical fatigue, and make dentistry more efficient globally. Its mission remains clear: use AI to support providers and deliver smarter dental care to all.
